That moment revealed a dual-layered bottleneck I have spent years studying, naming, and solving. We did not need better managers — we needed Strategic Stewards: leaders who could build the connection between the sincerity of the handwritten check and the accountability of the blockchain ledger.

Read the Journal →After the market-structure bill failed, the rules that decide how a donated token is treated moved into the SEC-CFTC Harmonization Initiative and each agency's own orders. That record is public, dated and citable, and it can be revised, which makes reading it, and noting what you relied on, part of stewardship.
Ask which giving vehicle is more transparent, the on-chain collective or the donor-advised fund, and most people name the fund. The honest answer runs the other way, and the reason it does says something uncomfortable about how the field allocates trust.
A public digital euro that cannot bear interest went live in the same week its central bank asked that private euro tokens be held to the same limit. The United States reached the identical outcome by a different route. Two systems, opposite institutional paths, one fact a charitable treasurer now has to plan around.
